In response to the overwhelming evidence showing the positive impact of one-to-one and small group tuition (click here to read more), schools are increasingly using their Pupil Premium to support these initiatives.
As well as improving academic performance and boosting confidence, an external tutor can offer a child the opportunity of a ‘clean slate’ and the possibility of creating more positive behaviours for learning that can then be transferred back to the classroom.
There is consistent and strong evidence that one-to-one tuition has an average impact of five additional months progress.

All our tutors go through our rigorous application and interview process to ensure that only those with proven abilities to inspire, educate and communicate are invited to join our network.
We expect our tutors to be role models and mentors as much as they are teachers.
Tuition can be provided during or after the school day, on school premises or any other appropriate venue. All our tutors have enhanced DBS certificates less than one year old, or are on the DBS Update Service.
In addition to providing tuition services, we run mental health, mindfulness and wellbeing workshops for school students and staff.
