11+ Formal Assessment

“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”

Benjamin Franklin

Deciding whether to put your child forward for 11+ exams, and determining which schools to apply for, can be tricky and many parents have found our 11+ Formal Assessment to be invaluable.

We have compiled our own papers covering all the aspects that are tested in 11+ exams including Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. After a student has completed these papers, we mark them and produce a lengthy report outlining the child’s strengths and areas for improvement in each of the competencies.

In our reports we also break down exactly what is required to succeed in 11+ exams, as well as identifying which senior schools would suit the child’s ability, potential and learning style. We also discuss whether 11+ tuition might be required to prepare for entrance exams.

These reports are shared with the family and a follow up online meeting is scheduled to discuss the report. The family are then welcome to use one of our excellent 11+ tutors to prepare their child for the entrance exams. This service is an optional extra to our 11+ tuition service and has an additional charge. To book an 11+ Formal Assessment, or to find out more, please call 020 3198 8006 or contact us.

What can our tutors offer you?

  • Written feedback after every lesson to enable you to keep track of your child’s progress.

THE GOOD SCHOOLS GUIDE SAYS:

“A lot of these companies are not that serious about education – not exactly fly-by-night, but nowhere near as sincere and professional as Newman Tuition, who take an interest in how you educate people and really care about their clients.”
