To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week 2020, Newman Tuition Director, Zac Newman, will be joined live, on webinar, by mental health campaigner, writer, filmmaker and public speaker Jonny Benjamin MBE on Sunday 24th May 5pm-6pm.
Jonny will share his journey with mental illness which began at the age of 5 and continues to this day. Jonny speaks with incredible honesty and frankness. Now, at the age of 33, Jonny will share how he has learned to manage his mental illness. This is a moving story of hope and recovery, with the ultimate message that we can all overcome any adversity in life.
Following on from Jonny, Zac will present, and discuss, 10 tips for how we can look after ourselves. These offer clear and effective guidance for supporting our own mental health and well-being. Zac is a qualified teacher, mindfulness coach and public speaker with a background in NLP, psychotherapy and counselling. He is passionate about supporting people to improve their well-being. He is a founding trustee of Hamakom, a mindfulness and meditation charity. He is the father of two gorgeous boys and husband to a loving wife.
