During half-term we held an extremely successful wellbeing workshop titled ‘A Positive Mindset to Exams’. The main things the students said they took away from the session were identifying and using their strengths; managing their stress/anxiety with mindfulness; and developing a growth mindset.
One student wrote: “It was a very well structured session. I discovered how to use my strengths to help me study and to work on the things that challenge me.” All participants noted that they felt both less stress, and better equipped to deal with any future stress, as a result of the workshop. The students’ average rating for the event was 8.75 out of 10.
We are aiming to run a 6 week course in the Autumn term (one workshop a week) delving deeper into these areas, as well as other aspects of your child’s wellbeing. If you would like to find out more, or to register, please get in touch.
